And another one... Picked up a Swiss K11, made in 1918. A friend called me, trying to raise money for a new Glock. The rifle came with a bayonet and some ammo. The price was pretty reasonable so... Pictures to follow.

I got to shoot both the M1917 and K11 on New Year's day. Trying to start the new year off right! It was kinda neat to be shooting two rifles that are a century old.

Now somebody stop me from buying any more!

Then don't even peep to the Swedish Mausers!
they come in long and short versions and are much sweeter than a Swiss. Don't you know that things coming from the North are much warmer to use than things coming from the warmer (or higher) South? Smile

There's little that can beat a hundred year old Carl Gustav in 6,5x55...

Swiss K11 made in 1918. My first group with G11 ammo at 100 yards, off a rest, was about 2.5". Given my vision and iron sights I'm pleased!

Aloysius, you're not helping... Since my son-in-law is in the business I'm always being tempted anyway!

much better grouping than the first grouping I achieved with my M1G - 8 inches at 100 yards. Some accurizing did wonders.
