Another choice dilema

45LC - Good for small game and "closer" shots on smaller medium game.

410 - Loaded with slugs great for a medium game, with shot good for birds and rabbit.

Looks like you got a good deal for you, the wife and where you live. If you can import barrels without a problem, just get another barrel, like a 223, and you have a short range and long range gun without to much fuss. The 410 gives you a light shotgun for small game and birds.

Unfortunately, as I have now found out, the Survivor is based on the SG1 frame. That is only good for shotgun loads, the 45LC is the only centerfire that it would safely take.
The extra barrels can only be fitted into the SG2 frame.
Should have forked out a few more $ to get the SG2 version... its too late now.. Sad
