I agree that the 870 Wingmaster is a fine firearm. And prior Express were as well.
The recent shipments of 870 Express' leave a lot to be desired, from what I've read. Lots of feed and extraction issues, wobble-cut choke bores, plastic trigger group, etc... and the reciever was rougher than the Parnder, on the one I inspected at least. It was also a lot more money.
The Express was a pound lighter though. It also 'looked' like a Remington which I find apealling.
But the NFE got the nod. Time will tell.

The reason they don’t drill them is because they use a cantilever scope mount barrel!!!

I wasn't. I was comparing two, out of the box shotguns....my holo-sight will go right on mine if need be w/o anything...I'd rather hunt turkey with a bow than a SG anyways. |

When they first started using the cantilever set up you could get them in a smooth-bore for that reason!!!
Wish I could find one for my BPS!!!

Heard about this set-up!!! First I've seen a picture of it.
Personally I don't care for anything on a hunting rig that needs batteries!!!
