Must be time for a weather report..........ok high 30s at night, low 50s during the day...shorts and sleeves weather. We haven't had sun for a month and now it's like spring! You guys need some of this southern breeze we're getting, it's wonderful. They said it should be this way for the next 7 days at least.

Went shooting yesterday.....forgot my ammo.............spent the time hiking in the woods instead, sun in my face, but was totally pissed, I wanted to try out some hotter loads in my pistola.

Oh! We were supposed to get a bunch of snow here this week but looks like sprinkling rain to me, 43 F degrees.

Hey Suz...you know it will take quite some years to live this one down.

What Bushy is alluding to is a very silly, stupid, moronic ridiculous mistake I made probably some six or seven years ago. I went out on a four day hunting trip with my shooting buddy. We got about an hour or so down the road and I got this niggling feeling that I had forgotten something. Had a quick check of things and sure enough...I had left my rifle bolts sitting on the bench in my garage. Embarassed

A simple reminder of my foolishness crops up every now and again in here...it has never been forgotten, but at least I can laugh about it now...I couldn't at the time...I was furious, but that's life. Laughing

Rifle doesn't go back into the case unless bolts and magazines are present and accounted for!

Oh everything was present and accounted for mate. I had taken my rifles out of their boxes etc and put them into my soft bags.

The bolts used to be stored separately in a locked container (NOT no more) and I had got them out and was side-tracked for some reason. I put them down and that is where they stayed till I got home from the hunting trip. Embarassed

I have never forgotten bolts or ammo but I did once forget that I had loaded my gun when I was interupted in dry-fire practice...

That was the quietest live round I have ever fired. My mind could not recognize that there was a noise, but my nose couldn't mistake the smell of burnt powder and my eyes couldn't hide the hole in my practice target.
