I've had a few prior Navy over the last 19+ years.
Things are good up here in the frozen north, can't wait for spring though.

Man that attention on deck thing can scare ya if you haven't heard it in a while. Well actually I didn't hear it, I imagined it, and I wanted to instantly wipe the lipstick off my lips and stand to. WHEW! That's overwith!
Shrpshtrjoe!! You REALLY got some snow! Anybody that wants it can have my share too. I got lots of rain and mild weather. Ore. winters are wonderfully mild, we had a couple weeks of nasty cold but nothing like what you guys are getting now. I don't like cold and I don't like hot, I"d love to live on the coast and just get rain and wind, but I don't like wind, at least with these trees around anyway. Snow is fun for a while but too much of a good thing is too much of a good thing, ya know? Have fun with it and cozy up!

Let me know when I can Stand Easy Bushy...been an awful long time since I've had to Stand Fast.
Gee Joe...you certainly got some snow mate...I've never even seen that much in my entire life. 
I'm with you Suz...Don't like the "bitter" cold much, and don't like the "stinking" hot. All we've had here for the past few months is temps in the range of 30*C - 38*C and humidity you can almost swim through.
Now...PARTY....woo hoo...I'll restock the beer cart.

This has been one strange winter in the east. We have been getting some snow, 4-5" this last storm, but I'm in PA. and south of us, Delaware and Maryland have been taking the big hits. Not that I'm complaining. If I never see snow again it will be too soon for me. I remember one blizzard in the 90s that left me with 5 1/2' drifts in my driveway.

Snow sucks! I just plowed yesterday and now I have to plow again tomorrow after work 3 or 4 more inches with a lot of drifts. There is a lot of ice underneath so that makes it interesting even with chains on the 4 wheeler it spins out and around pretty easy.

It snowed all day and half way into the night. Got a total sum of 4"...Thought that might cheer you up and we'd see a smile.
It was melting almost as fast as it came down here.
