how do you like that LR308? I haven't worked up to the AR10 platform yet but am seriously considering one. i just worry about the weight.

O K...I'm 74 this month and am 5' 7" 150 lbs.

I have the DPMS Oracle LR308.

I chose it because I wanted a bit more firepower (impact) then the .223 will give. I find it no heavier than my Browning .30-06.

It is a blast to shoot and is quite accurate.

And of course I reload. 45 grains of H380 under a 150 grain HP.
