Nights are cooling down and that smell is in the air Cool bringing that promiss of a new season. Coyotes and even crows provideing a grand time in the great outdoors. Hey! If you haven't tried shooting crows over an owl decoy and a bunny distress call your missing some fine action and some finer calling practice Very Happy Very Happy
Here's a little song off my little double open reed I call Scratch. Scratch got her baptism on her first hunt Smile

Yep, dummy me forgot my glasses and left them out on the work bench. Had to go and get them so I could do some reading. When I went out you could smell the air tonight. And the sound of this years pups in the distance didn't hurt any either Very Happy LO

I've had that itch for so long, I'd call in an out-break. I've been setting around the computer, going over topo's, looking at new country to try calling. I went out and sang the jackrabbit blues twice this week. Never had any luck, got myself run outta the desert both times by down-pours of rain, yeah, it rains in Arizona at times. It's going to be a banner year if this rain keeps up. Guess I'll continue studying maps now and drive the little woman crazy with practice on a mouth call. Good hunting guys, I'll see you in the desert.

Had the itch a few weeks ago and was fortunate enough to call in a coyote and take him out(saves antelope, elk and deer youngins right?). And just got my .204 back after some trigger work and am heading out Friday afternoon to see if we can get some more coyotes over the weekend up north.
