Looking for anyone who has used this cartridge/powder combo with 140 gr bullets. I will be using 140 gr Sierras.
Any data you all might have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Brad

Call Sierra's 800 number. They can give you a lot of information.

I will have to see if I still have the data when I tried it with 140 Nosler partitions. It didn't work as good as H-870 or AA-8700 but the accuracy was pretty good. I still have a good supply of 870 and 8700 so I retired the Retumbo for some other project.
If you can find a jug of H870 you will be in business as it gives best velocity of the powders usually loaded in the 264 WM. Only problem is they quit making H870 so you have to hunt the gunshops for leftovers.

My 264 liked 125g nosler partitions and H4831 better than the any of the 140g selections available. Although my brother claims his prefers the 140g pills I could never get any to shoot consistently in my Model 70.

I use to have a 264 win mod 70. I used IMR 4350 for most of my loads never had much luck with the 140's and the 4350 but had great luck with the 120 b-t.
