Used reloading equipment

The local gun shops get in used reloading equipment and dies and I give them a good look. Mostly the stuff is is fair or worse condition and gets passed over. Yesterday I came across a like new RCBS RockChucker and got it for $60.00. I have a buddy that wants to get into reloading and he may get it for Christmas. RCBS has excellent customer service and will replace parts for their products without a hassle. Anyone else shopping for used reloading equipment? All the best...

Howdy Gil. I shop for used reloading eq as well always nice to find a deal. I shop ebay for used eq the last few things i got off ebay was 3 lee auto primes for I think it was 14 dollars and recently got a RCBS neck sizer die for 11 dollars. I have bin lucky with ebay all the items i have gotton have bin as described.

My wifes uncle scored on a whole Dillon 650 set up with all the bells and whistles, even a few die sets for only $350! Shocked

I don't think it was from a shop, but what a deal.
Really, if i can buy a used gun i figure most gun people take care of their stuff and i'd have no problem at all buying used. Very Happy

I've purchased used reloading equipment, especially dies, and it's worked out well so far. Generally I'll find useful equipment at the various gun shows. I try to inspect it as closely as I can before buying it. Buying scopes and the like can be risky at gun shows. Some guys will really put it to you if they can, but I guess you know that already. If any of you are looking for decent used and new reloading equipment, try looking at GUNSAMERICA.com in there reloading equipment section, there is a guy selling a new in the box Dillon SDB set up for 45acp for 200.00.
