Yeah, true Tiks...but don't get caught bringing them into NSW mate. Been there, done that, but I was lucky. Up here in the "Cotton Wool" State they are not allowed, and they all but crucify you if you are caught with fireworks.

Not going to give the bugger any chance to revoke any of my licenses mate.

I already written off fireworks as unobtainium .. along with semi auto rifles and pump action shotguns.

At work this arvo we caught two brothers with home made explosives from fireworks. They'de been annoying their neighbours who kindly called police. I think my message got through when I threatened to lock them up for explosives and ruin any chance of overseas travel. 16 home made IEDs and 48 possibles sitting at the work bench ready to go....and don't forget the 12 exploded ones I got from the neighbors.....

Boys will be boys mate...but it would be a good thing for them to see the effects on a person who is the victim of homemade explosives...I reckon that would put the fear of God into them real quick.

I know two guys here that suffered severe injuries making home made "fireworks". One almost lost his arm. He kept it but its really messed up. The other lost his hand and disembowelled himself but lived. Both guys when in their 40s when they did it too!
