I was a pokin' around on yer case lube wisdom and noted a remark about furniture polish bein a myth. It ain't. Cheaper the better, I use a brand from the dollar store that hasn't a lick of English on the can. Put the brass in a Walmart Brand zip lock bag and put a few puffs in and shake it up. Cheap, clean and easy. So when you're ready to give up the greasy fingers, and the conventional, try an easier way of slickin' 'em up. Great point made by the ol' super user "Bush Master", stay away from ammonia or other corrosives, otherwise the shelf life will be a bit disappointing, not to mention them leopard spots you'll have on yer shinny brass.
