we can use any shell capacity we like Very Happy

, but must not use lead within 200 metres of water more than 3metres wide if after waterfowl with a .12ga Shocked

BUT you can use lead if after something else in the same area eg bunnies or quail or geese Sad

or are useing a guage smaller than .12 Confused

Well...lead, lead substitute or steel shot...where ducks are concerned it don't matter...it is illegal to shoot them here in QLD...bastard tree huggers !!! (Wonder when someone is gonna see the light and allow a Tree Hugger season Very Happy

I load 2 3/4" 12g...from 24gm (7/8 oz) up to 36gm (1 1/4 oz) with all different sizes of shot#9, #7.5, #6, #4, BB, SG 00 and slugs...have load data for all of them, but I restrict velocity to no more than 1375 fps. Must check if my gun is proofed for steel, but if lead is outlawed here I will go over to casting and using bismuth shot.
