All it does is create more work for lawyers later when it all goes wrong!

Personally, I think it is disgusting. I'm not homophobic...well, not entirely...but marriage is not between two males or two females...it is between a man and a woman.

I've now got to the point of not caring one way or another, I'm sick of hearing of gay this and gay that.
Why should the straights have all the fun in the divorce courts, they want equality give to them in spades, let the lawyers handle the grief.

Well I think it's a nice start to do something against all this oil that's spoiled on heating houses etc. they now can all make these nice circles keeping eachother warm in Winter...
What's next? Why cann't you marry your sheep? An occasional divorce would cost less... I can even imagine the dresscode for the marriage-party: rubber boots, long coats and velcro gloves...

by the way: what's "line-dance"? Is this described somewhere in this reply? Smile

Well in India and other such countries, man do married goats, dogs, cows horses and a plethora of other fauna.
I believe in USA someone married a tree as well..

Genetic diversity is what made the species strong, but IMHO human does become really weird.

I dont believe for one minute that any of the preacher/minister folk that I know will preform a "marriage ceremony for them. so they will have a civil union only untill the churchy type folk let them in....

This won't make me very popular but I am going to say it anyway.

If the government or the people get to choose who can get married it won't be long before they can decide if we can speak our minds or own guns. If two people who love each other want to get married then I am available. This minister will perform same gender marriages because I feel that it is wrong to discriminate on the basis of age (as long as its legal), race, faith, physical limitations, gender or gender preference, or ethnic origin.

If we don't support the rights of all then we can't expect them to support ours.

That's an interesting and probably pertinent comment in this current political climate Paul.

I am still opposed to same gender marriage though.
