Over the weekend, we have a really challenging Xmas Fun Shoot at the pistol club.
With 22 LR target pistols, we shoot balloons (5 balloons at 1 point each) and metal silhouettes (5 chickens at 2 points each) sorry no pictures on this stage.. I forgot to take photos
Then to the second stage where we shoot plates that when hits pops some party poppers (5 plates at 2 points each) and the "wheel of doom" orange clay pigeons that would starts the spin as soon as one of the plate is shot and thus unbalanced the whole wheel (5 clay pigeons at 5 points each)
On the left is the party popper plates and on the right is the "Wheel of Doom"
And, last we shoot cocktail flags at 10 points each, the flags are 1 x 1.5 inch in size which is slightly larger than the 10 ring and smaller than the 9 ring in standard target size. The flags are the light color dots just above the board in the image below.
I guess it is no big deal to shoot them since they stay where they are (except on the wheel of doom), but since we are UIT ISSF shooting club, we have shoot them
single handed, at 25 meters or about 27 yards away.
So they look like this from the shooting distance
I guess it took a lot of concentration to hit the target
LOL, I end up getting 78 points.
We have a member who is an Olympic shooter, and he get 99 points.
