for my Rossi Puma .357 Mag to be carried on my back.
This rifle has been with me for about 20 years harvesting many pigs in the scrubs.
I never got to install a sling on it since it is a bit awkward to drill the stock for sling points.
Custom hand made and stitched by Blacks Blades' Shane Partridge of Wollongong Australia.

Very happy..

Shane has done a beautiful job on your scabbard mate. Why did you have problems fitting a sling to the Rossi mate? I bought a set of Uncle Mikes QD Sling Swivels for my Winchester Mod 94 and they work a treat.

I can understand not waning to drill into the stock, but I need a sling. Here's a site that has a no drill sling, I did something like it on my old Winchester 94 but I didn't use the front swivel or the fancy butt system they show. I just had a leather loop, just long enough that when I shouldered the rifle the back of my elbow was snug n the loop, used a small rawhide strap to tie the loop to the barrel just in front of the stock, like I said not fancy but very functional. With your leather guy I am sure you could come up with something much nicer than what I did.

I think he doesn't need to draw before he can shoot...
he even can aim because he left the optics outside.

The only thing I was wandering: is there something added to fix that scabbard to your normal rucksack? It would make carrying even easier.

But it's really nice and worth coppying Smile

Yes I am very happy with this.

This is more for me to carry the rifle on a stroll, not intended to do quick draw but I can draw it as fast as unslinging a rifle on the shoulder.

The reason for the scope on the outside is so the sheath is still snug when the scope is not used.
