Haven't been on the site much due to a pile of things including winding people up on a NZ Site _ Elvis will back me there.
He's been texting me about his big hunt the skite - thats a nice animal and the photo of it down is a cracker.
Heres a bit of a catch up….
Im now off the street and have been so for about 2 years now - Im a bona fide office warrior now and hate it!!!! I got into trouble with the boss about 4 weeks ago when I went out and ended up as front man in an armed entry team which was good fun….jeeze i love adrenaline. Got told I should have been back at the car overviewing it but I just couldn't help myself
Hunting wise Ive had an alright year so far - Ive taken up Bow Hunting using a compound bow; a Martin Falcon set at 65 lb and thats been a heap of fun. A couple of goats so far and Im trying to get a deer but Ive got some family shit Im dealing with. Im also trying to make a couple of traditional bows using NZ Native timber (kanuka) and an English longbow out of Privit (which is a noxious tree here) - its a fascinating process and Ive got a good bowyer here in cambridge who's able to give advice.
The shit being My Father has Alzheimers and during the early stage he made me Power of Attourney - mums super fit and no issues so I guess I blame it on the disease for him making a pain in the arse decision. So going backwards and forwards to Whangarei with all his stuff - I suppose it does get me up and visiting him but he's in a Dementia Home and thats bloody hard to watch - Still Mums home cooking is always nice.
Apart from that Ive been hanging out watching but not commenting. But thats going to change because Ive got a new role and its gonna give me more time to do stuff online.

Welcome back Radar. I'm really sorry to hear about Dad mate. Dementia is shocking, as is Alzheimer's...takes a terrible toll on the family mate.

You're a "corridor creeper" now mate...you have my sympathy, but that's the joys of climbing up the corporate ladder. As much as it rankles, let the young fellas do all the hard work now mate...with the benefit of your knowledge and experience guiding them.

Say hi to Nat from us mate and I look forward to "seeing" more of you...but not as much as Elvis described showing just before taking his buck.
