Anyone have a 760 or 76? I just purchased a model 76 sportsman, 30-06 for $250. It reminds me of my granddads old 760, except a bit newer looking. Thinking of purchasing an old 760 with the corn cob pump handle.
Any suggestions on a purchase price? Is $250 to $350 about the right price for one of these?

Hi iraqvet, that sounds about right for the more common calibers. Some of the rarer chamberings can bring many times that amount though.

Hi Iraqvet,
I sold a Remington 760 in 270 caliber a few months ago for $225. The gunshop put it up for sale for $400. It was at 98%.

The local gun shop has excellent used 760s in .270 and .30-06 for $325.00. He will let them go for $300.00. All the best...
