A lady is home alone and hears her door bell ring. When she opens the front door all she finds is a snail sitting on the front step looking up at her.

"Ewww" she thinks and kicks the snail, the little snail goes sailing over the lawn and plops down in the shrubbery somewhere

Two weeks later, she answers her doorbell again. The same snail is standing on her front step. The snail looks up and says

"Well,, what did you do that for?"
