If you were looking for a fast pace site, yes. If you were expecting to see lots of hunting adventures here, well hunting seasons are mostly closed at this time except some varmints.

I don't know...What were you looking for? This site is a bit different then other sites. We discuss real hunting ideas and situations. Not "magazine hunting"...You will get ideas from professional, novices and just good ol' hunting buddies. This includes from all over the world though we have a large following from Oz down under (Australia). Even some from Africa.

By the way...Welcome to this fine site where we discuss all aspects of life, hunting, fishing, firearms, reloading and politics...Ya might want to pull up a stump and grab a beer and sit a spell. You just might find something that interest you...Welcome aboard...We DO have one of the best site owners around in my (notso) humble opinion.

Why am I telling you this? You've been lurking sense Nov 2005?? And you just posted your first post?? Next time I'll read a little closer. I've been had guys... Very Happy

Firstly welcome to the forums. Howdy

As for a fast pace site, considering the size of the membership and the amount of people who post regularly, and the number of people who talk alot (geez talking about myself now. Embarassed

) this site is fast pace at times, other times, its alittle slow because people have commitments and the like (on weekends etc).

So if you want this site to seem alittle faster, then join in and start posting. Very Happy

2005 was when I started using this software to run the site. Before then we didnt have site wide logins, but rather just a single login to the forums. Unforunately the join dates were not preserved when we upgraded things to this software.

You want to see our growth since then, here it is. We are basically doubling our activity every year from the year prior.

I remember the early days when Dallan started up the first version of Hunting Nut. For quite sometime we only had 3-4 members ... talk about slow! Laughing
