I found this in my email today, it is very sobering.

Worth every second. ....... Date: Wednesday, July 1, 2009, 4:4 PM

Killed in action the week before, the body of Sergeant First Class John C. Beal was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City, Georgia, just south of Atlanta, June 11, 2009 . The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough, Georgia. A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time. The link below is a short travelogue of that day's remarkable and painful journey. Watch this if you wish to have some of your faith in people restored.

Welcome home soldier. Rest in peace, secure in the knowledge that your job is finished others will now take over the burden.

A wonderful tribute to a soldier who gave his all for the good of everyone else. It seems to me that this man's family will be well looked after, which is most important.

Pray Pray Salute Salute

Cheers, Vince

Thank God that we can still remember the American soldier.
