I had a chance to try out a Mueller scope on my flat top AR. It has 1/8 moa target type turrets and a german style reticle with the horizontal and lower verticla crosshair being thicker than the upper vertical. It also has an illuminated red dot in the center of the crosshair. The dot is all that lights up. The quality of the glass was excellent with as clear a field of view as Nikons I paid 3X's as much for.
While sighting in at 100 yards the ease of use was awesome. The first shot was three inches right and four inches low. I came up 4 moa and fired again. Elevation dead on. Came left 3 moa - Dead center X.... Shot again...same hole. I did a modified shoot the square test where I ran it up 3 moa and left 3 moa. Shot a corner shot right where I expected to see it. I ran it back to the "Zero" settings - third shot in the X ring right on top of the other two.
If you get a chance to get one of these, fear not - good glass for a good price.
