Was wondering if ya' got any of that WX that took out a big section of Joplin, MO yesterday? I hope all is well down that way. Yeah I know you are a aways from Joplin, but that storm system was BIG! And nasty as they come. If anyone else is in that part of the world.. you have my thoughts and prayers as well.

Just saw this on the news over here...that thing was MASSIVE...did a terrible amount of damage and the death toll is at 116 at the moment.

Terrible news. Here's hoping all of our mates on Hunting Nut are ok and either weren't affected or survived this terrible storm.

Prayers and thoughts to everyone in Joplin MO, especially those that lost family or friends.

Cheers, Vince

Thank God for that Bushy...can't even begin to imagine how we could get by here without you mate.

Not only that, but you have to train young Zeus up to be as good as Cutter.

Cheers, Vince

Yup...Batton down the hatches. Set storm watch. All unnecessary personel stay below decks. Secure all compartments for rough weather.

Bushy, glad you're OK! Sure is a tragedy for many others though.

This is one of the few forums that I frequent where everyone cares.
Makes me proud to be part of it all - and friends with all of you.
Just gotta say it - you gys and gals are like family to me - so stick around for a while, OK?
I love you all!

As of 230PM On Tuesday. The company I currently work for(Lozier, Inc.) has not had any type of contact from approximately 11 employees fromthe Joplin, MO plant. There are various numbers that have been set up for folks to text to and send ten dollars to the USA RED CROSS SPECIFICALLY for the Joplin folks. We are probably going to have a "kitty" set up as well for our fellow employees down there.

And I say currently, as I handed in my two weeks notice Monday as iwalked to our daily meeting. The plant was VERY generous to me and my family after our fire... so now it is my turn to return the favor to those down south who have last pretty much EVERYTHING! I know too well the loss of home and loved ones. To have it happen at the same time ... well I would totally understand any possible outcome.

Glad ya' made it through THAT round of nastiness Bushmaster.

126 dead. Over 750 injured. Aproximately 1,000 missing. One of the many horror stories is a mom and dad in a hospital in Oklahoma not knowing where thier 4 year old son is (still missing in Joplin).
