Not sure if I posted anything in the past about this. Anyone have any thoughts on the 7.62x25 tokarev? I have an oppertunity to purchase one at $150 dollers. I am thinking I may just do that plus ammo seems to be cheap so I will probably not bother reloading for it. Anyhow anyone with input is welcome to post what they have to say about this.

I have two handguns in this caliber, a Chinese Tokarev and a Czech Model 52. The Czech is a much better handgun, better fit and finish and more accurate. I shoot surplus ball ammo and like using it. All the best...

You are better off buying a soviet rather than chinese/asian made tokarev.
Like Gil said, they are manufactured to a higher quality standard. I cannot remember the name of the factory that made the best quality pistols in Russia for the upper echelon military and politians but I will dig around and see if I can find the name for you.

A buck and a half for a decent CZ52 sounds like a good deal. Condition is everything. All the best...
