after 11 years of faithfull devotion we had to let the old girl go as the big C had come back. Buttons was her name breeding was german shorthaired pointer/ huntaway. she was great for flushing rabbits of chaseing wallabies. she retrieved all our ducks geese and after 4 years of saying "get stuffed dad" she would even retrieve black swans. we taught her with black birds on the back lawn and she never looked back. the brother in law and I took her out and buried her behind the maimai so she will still be near and the wife and kids took a oak tree up and planted it close to keep the ducks around. we have tried to post photo Sad

I'm sorry to hear about that. I know how hard it is to have to do that as I've had several good dogs over the years. I've got one that is 13 now and he's starting to have a few bad days here and there. But he always greets me when I get home.
