hojoos, I'm not aware that Nosler sells a subsonic projectile for reloaders. Do you have a link? Hornady has a 190gr .308 Sub-X.

yep, your freebore/leade looks to be longer than mine. I also found the 7-28 insert worked better on the .277 bullets and would give a more consistent measurement to the ogive.

What are your COALs to touch the lands?

Better yet, what insert are you using on the Hornady tool and the measured distance to the ogive?

English Mike, I shoot Barnes 129 LRX. I run those at max mag length in my Tikka and they still do not touch the lands. I'm with Paul, I don't think you are going to have an issue.
