I won't likely to call for ambulance in that circumstance.

it worked for him THIS TIME IN THIS CASE but be aware I know for a fact that it wont work here in NZ. A father who was told out of the blue about a kiddie fiddler with very sick tastes has been in "touch" with his child and is then warned by said same officer of the law that if this guy is touched they will be knocking on his door and taking his guns first and his freedom next.
very crappy situation to be in all round. good that this perv got his just desserts but dont go there or you will be risking your chance to be a Dad.

Elvis, I think the situations are quite different. The guy in TX caught the pervert in the act and reacted. It would be something else to be told about it then afterwards hunt the guy down. Premeditation and all that. Not that I could really fault a father for doing that.

He didn't mean to kill. He didn't use what would normally be called deadly force. No weapons involved. He sought medical aid for the perv once he realized he was dying. Added all up, it is along way from executing someone. Had he used a pistol after stopping the assault without being attacked himself I think the story might have been different but he would have been entitled to "Due Process" and judged by a jury of his peers.
