Well the deer season started a little early this year. I got the chance to test my big Ranch Hand bumper. I hit a small 6 point buck at about 65 mph, that poor buck flew clear across the other lane and down the ditch, doing somersaults all the way. The total damage to my truck................ a clean spot on the bumper was all. Of course there wasn't much left of the buck. That $1300 bumper paid for itself for the second time within a year.

Heheh, next you would just get rid of your guns mate, you got better hunting tool now

My brother-in-law...nice older F-150. Deer strike on a "dead mans curve" in the Flathead Valley. They managed to save his truck. Yay! Two trips later- BOOM, same exact spot. He got lucky twice. It's interesting to see how slow folk go round that corner. Neighbor got side-plowed by a bucking making a run for it, if he was driving faster he'd missed him!

Glad yer ok. My sis hit on in her lil car and it was touch n go for a while.

I am starting to think some one is out to get me! Tonight I was driving through town in heavy traffic for a small town and some little college girl decided to make a left turn right across in front of me. She claimed that she didn't see until she heard my brakes lock up. I guess the cars in front of me hid me.

Weirsy, do you by chance happen to drive a green vehicle? My last two, a Dodge Dakota and a Honda CR-V, have been dark green and I've been amazed at how many times people have almost hit me. That never happened when I drove my yellow Mustang!

Get one of them train horns ta go with the cow catcher...my bud has one. Drives by my place and hits it and I pucker then launch of the seat INSIDE my house every time. GOD I hate that thing.

maybe you need to drive with your headlights on all the time??? it does reduce your chance of a collision and if you have a clever sparky/ mechanic you get them to turn off with the key so you dont walk away getting a batt flattery.
and speaking of horns.... I was having a nice sleeping this morning after staying up to watch the rugby when I was awoken by kids riding thier bikes up the road tooting on those plurry aurga horns that used to be on model A fords etc sounded like 4 or 5 of them.. well then I remembered we live in the country yip it was those canadian geese giving the place another flyby

You need to have a couple of loaded shotties on a rack above ya door so you can reach up and grab one as ya run out the door to bag some as they fly past.
