Get into the operating system and turn the predictive text OFF, i did this with my android phone ands I've never looked back ( I was trained to spell in school so I dont need a phone to do it for me, now if I could only type....)

Ok, dhc4ever. I can't find how to turn it off. It lets me type your name but Dallan and others get all messed up.

On my Wifes Acer tablet with the android system, To turn predictive text on or off with the Android keyboard, tap the Input options key, and then Android keyboard settings. Tap Auto correction or Show correction suggestions and select one of the options.

Can't seem to find any buttons with those labels. The UNDO button, most important of all buttons, appears to be lost in space.

predictive txt drives me barmy too!!! give the phone to a teenager they will sort it quick smart... little blighters are usefull for some things.
