The govt owned Springfield armory in Mass closed it's doors in the late 60's, the commercial one located in Illinois has been running since the 70's. I'm thinking the former govt owned Springfield armory is now a museum.

I like that manufacturers are standing up but I have no doubt that the feds will sell what the law enforcement agencies want in those places that can't buy direct.
If the state said I couldn't buy powder I would go to Oregon to get it so I would think that the LEO groups will do the same thing.

The last count I've seen ,, Quote from another site,,,,,

This number is out of date. The latest count is 62 and growing. Go here: www.thepoliceloophole.com/

Also the following suppliers or manufacturers are moving or considering moving:

1. Creed-moor Sports from Oceanside, CA to Ft. McClellan, AL. Creed-moor Sports supports high power rifle shooters with custom arms and accessories on or about 15 April 2013.

2. MagPul Industries from Boulder, CO to a Free State.

3. Remington Arms from Ilion, NY to a Free State.

4. Beretta USA from Accokeek, MD to a Free State.

What these manufacturers are doing is sending a clear message to the government that a line has been drawn & crossing it will have consequences.
It matters little how inconvenienced LE is in various states so long as they understand the reason & consider this is a shot across the bows.
Things will get worse if the politicians persist in their unconstitutional actions.

Mike ,,,"Things will get worse if the politicians persist in their unconstitutional actions."

. Beginning to look like Concord Bridge is just around the bend. If the government keeps pushing and it will come to a head soon.

. The ammo and all the reload components(bullets & powder) keep disappearing off the shelves around here. So if you don't have it already you'll be lucky to find it. Some of my neighbors on 3-sides have slaked off their target practice. and a gun range a mile or so across the river has been pretty quite lately .

I'll make it ,, still got beer in the ice chest Cheers

and the mags are still loaded with brass & lead Shooting
