Finally, found some powder

Been looking for some powder for a while now. Finally, the bass pro shops has gotten some it. Was able to pick up a pound of RL-19 today. Havent tried it yet in my '06, but have wanted to for some time. Looking forward to some load developement. Primers are still scarce a hens teeth.

Yep, powder is scarce. I gave my buddy a keg of TAC. He has already paid for his and waited 16 weeks - still no word on when it will arrive. I did find all three of the bullets I needed for my six8 at MidwayUSA last week. They arrived today, yeah!

I had told a guy at work about Hodgdon CFE223 powder and he has been trying to get some for a couple of months now. He finally asked if I would be willing to let him have some of mine. I really hated to tell him "no", but since I have no idea when this situation will loosen up I'm not willing to short myself.

I wouldn't have said yes except he is a really good friend and his powder should arrive before I really need to use hwat I had.

I have one mate, and one only, that I will share reloading components with...primers, powder, projectiles, shotgun wads, and hulls...but he is the same with me.

Anybody else I won't share with. I will help them out with a few loaded rounds, usually 12g, on the range if they are short to finish a round of Trap, but that's all.

Lending reloading components is like loaning money...something else I won't do...you don't always get it back and then only after you have chased it up.

Right now in the US, reloading components are harder to find and more valuable than cash.

I don't have a shortage of reloading components, but then again I don't have a heap either...just enough to keep me happy...for the moment.

One thing I do have though is about 3K Federal Match SP Primers. Not much use to me though as I only use LR these days.
