I've already started working on Round 3 - closing off the barrel and letting freezing water push the bullet out. Dawgdad, did you get the calculations done yet? Will it work?

cook it for longer then...get it hot enough and something got to give....wee lpg blow torch like a plumber uses should be hot enough....or if slim is now sure primer is dead..he can drill it out as he tried earlier and wet powder and then just give it a plurry good thumping and pop the plurry thing out. Very Happy

I'm on a flight to CA for a week of work. I'll try again next weekend to see if I can freeze it out. I sure was hoping it would have gone off. I had a case filled with Trail Boss to push the bullet out if the round went off and blew the brass out.

Already determined that I can use a .45-cal slug inside the muzzle brake to block off the end of the barrel to hold the water until it freezes. Maybe Round 3 will do the trick.

SWMBO was complaining about not liking the refrigerator so I don't think I'll have a problem sticking the barrel in there.
