There's just something special about watching World Cup soccer on TeleMundo. I can't understand much, but the announcers sure are excitable.

AAHH.. different strokes ..
After all Soccer is actually the most favorite sport in the world with 3.3-3.5 billion fans as compared to cricket (LOL it took me three attempts to spell it right) with about 2.5-2.8 billion fans.
Rugby or gridiron (any flavor) do not even get to the top 8.
I like soccer and I watch almost every Socceroo play whenever I could.

I'm not into watching gladiators running around chasing various shaped balls of any kind. I'd rather be in the mountains amongst the tall trees and trout streams and roaming deer. It's very hard to beat a good camp fire and good friends sharing time together. While listening to the night sounds including the horses murmuring and moving around on a highline.

If ya'll didn't know it we have a prophet, I'm with you Bushy one of the best things I ever did was turn off Sunday football.
Sad state of affairs when millions of people pay to watch other people being paid to kick, carry or bounce a ball around. Spending that time in the woods quietly listening might do them some good, just not my woods.

Geland, they played well, a kind of old-english-school-soccer. I liked them. When things continue as they are going, all might end in a battle between the Netherlands and Germany... so why all these extra costs to visit Brasil? Or do they all like to know that one can find the most beautifull girls of the entire South-America in Porto Allegro?

LOL maybe it is the girls..
But I guess it is not really that..
If you see the statistic, the biggest overseas visitor for the game is from USA (because they are close by?)
And the second largest visitor for the game is from .. you guess it.. Australia..
Aussie have the most wonderful and beautiful girls in the world ( I am biased of course) but see the super models such as Miranda Kerr, Jennifer Hawkins, Elle McPherson etc etc etc..
Aussie have a large representative of good looking girls for a country with such small population.
