The UAE is returning to science by building a Mars mission for 2021.

The science and technology of the middle east took the world out of the dark ages and then seemed to forget it. The UAE is returning to being a world leader in science and technology once again. It will educate the young to question everything and find a productive living in the technological world.

Nope. They are getting educated to build their own stuff.
They aren't buying components - they want to build them.

The Arabian world used to be the center of science and technology in the world.
They reverted back to more violent ways when corrupt teachers began preaching the most radical parts of the Qur'an.

These scientists are the hope of a society to return to their roots instead of away from them.
