AM PM who's counting. For some reason I can't get the time set on that camera. At least I have it down to AM/ PM this year, I might get it set right by the time I pull them for the winter.

The neighbors are proving to be a bit elusive. 72 degrees is not really conducive to hunting up here. It was very quiet all over today.

I met a couple of the neighbors yesterday a cute little spike and this lovely little lady. She is delicious!

No we are trying to only shoot bucks with racks wider then their ears. Most of the neighbors like the thought of bigger bucks but there's always that doesn't believe in herd management. Across the fence it's brown is down and sort them out later. Most of their "hunters" have to shoot multiple times to hopefully kill an animal rather than waiting for a "good" shot. But I guess if you only take your rifle out once a year you probably have the urge to shoot multiple times.

Here in TX, they want to remove spikes from the population. Growth studies have shown their racks do not develop into a buck that you would want to keep in the gene pool.
