Ive done worse......gone hunting wallaby in foothills wearing smooth soled town shoes as left boots at home.....went up into highcountry for weekend and forgot my sleeping bag....first two trips after giving up smoking forgot something to light the fire with.

come on Vman fess up......... pictures of todays range trip will subdue the mockery...a little.

went pig hunting and I left the pig dog at home...remebered the rifle and ammo though...as my old Dad said to some one who asked if I had all the rifle bits and ammo "he would leave his diddle at home before forgetting that stuff"

Yes mate, you got it in one...I can’t believe it, I did it again. Sad

my head is hung in shame. I got the bolts out of the separate locked section of the gun safe, and of course we aren’t allowed to put them with the rifle, so I put them beside the locked ammo box ready to put in the car...FAIL, wrong ammo box. Consequently the bolts were missed.

Yep, I know mate, but I knew you would pick up on my faux pas, and no doubt have a quiet chuckle at my expense.

I’m headed back out to the range tomorrow, and the bolts are sitting with my car keys, so I won’t forget the bloody things.

I should be able to get some pics that show the level of accuracy of the No5 Mk1 Jungle Carbine.

mate....my rifle leaves the house intact....ammo in side pouch of gun bag.
it comes home all in gunbag too,the suppressor and bolt may be inside gunbag with rifle but it all lives together.
happy times mate.
we went fishing today,drowned worms for 4 hours without even one nibble,went for little drive after and managed to show SWMBO two live fallow hinds out bouncing around..... its awesome to see wild/feral deer at 16;00 enjoyingthe sun....they saw the terrano stop and decided it was time to seak shelter.....safe as houses from me as they were on private land.
