Well there is a new description now in the lexicon,
The COVIDIOT.
This apt description was first uttered against an idiot that proposed a solidarity march against covid 19 on one of those social media thingies.
I do not hold great hope of that one gaining traction (the march, not the name).
Question / Competition of the week, in quarintine how many loud blinks by your significant other will it take to ...........................
Fill in the blank.

Meh - I've been using the term "covidiot" for a month or more now, without having seen it previously.
Told my mum I'm doing one more shopping trip in eight days time, then it's UHT milk & eat what we have for at least a month.

Sounds great mate...I would have enjoyed that if I was there.
You guys keep safe and be mindful of people moving into your area trying to escape areas that are becoming inundated with infection. All non-essential movement has been banned over here, but that doesn’t stop those morons / covidiots that do as they please and to hell with everyone else.

if you can hit them with a shovel...they are inside your bubble
come into my bubble and Ill hit you with a shovel
tends to make "social distancing" a bit easer .

Been told to keep exercising, so went for a hike round the nearest lake this afternoon - "socially distanced" from a mate who just happened to be in the same place.
7½ miles in 190 minutes, with some gnarly bits - me on one of those...

Nice country Mike!
Vince, if the fish are practicing "social distancing" they are too far apart to catch. Still, it wouldn't hurt to throw a line a couple of times.

Looks like you had a good walk Mike. Now, the £1,000 question...did you throw a line in? If not, why not mate? |
Nope, due to time constraints.
That rock I'm climbing over is named Anglers Crag & for good reason - LOTS of small, wild brownies there. A good one will make 12oz to 1lb.
There's arctic char in the lake too but they're so rare as to be an endangered species, so the very few I hook go back.
Lord willing, I'll be back with some ultralight gear next week.

Vince, don't you know that we, in Flanders (the Northern part of Belgium) are not allowed to go fishing nor hunting? We are not even allowed to go and feed out wild game. Hunting and fishing are "non-essential".
The greenies however are allowed to continue cutting the trees and do other work in their areas… fishing and hunting gear spread the virus like hell… so our minister seems to try convince us. Maybe it's the rifle… shooting ranges are also closed.
It's a hard time for young ones to be in love as you're only allowed to visit your love when she's ill and you bring necessary groceries…
Tumbs up for the person who discovered the word "covidiots"
on the other hand: look around and see how some people in very short terms become dictators without a fight nor back up army… they might feel happy, don't you think?

speaking of covidiots, down under has stopped all firearm sales because they think it will lead to more crime. So now, how are people supposed to defend themselves? Oh, yeah, Elvis suggested a shovel.

The fine for being out of the home and not social distancing in $1000. The announced on the news last night that the local authorities will not start to use the fine as people are not staying far enough apart.
Mike, is that you or your social distancing mate?

SJ, who needs firearms when a good aimed jet of saliva can do the job…
As I mentioned before: this crisis exposes a lot of hiden feelings and ideas…
and I shouldn't laugh: here gunshops are also closed as only essential shops are allowed to be open.

In my state they are making county travel restrictions, you cant go outside your county. The BLM (bureau of land management) is starting to ban camping (which is really strange, you cant isolate more than being out in the middle of the deserts)
I'm getting a bunch of unfinished projects done while being stuck at home. I finished rebuilding the top end of my Sand Dunes atv, fired it up and let it heat soak once. Need to do the break in but now I find out the Sand Dunes have been closed by the BLM just days ago.
I have a AR15 lower and LPK I am going to put together in the next couple days. I dont have an upper for it currently, probably will have to wait for the prices to come back down.
Probably should clean the garage, but that sounds boring LOL.

That's me.
Fine here for being out without good reason is £30, then doubles after each offence, unless of course you are one of "the entitled", in which case, it goes to courts & costs you nearly £800
Sadly, no guesses for gender & ethnicity.
