Never use bug spray as there are ducks that make short work of that .

wow...9 pages and still didnt answer my question or show photo of a rem 700 trigger which I was looking to find.....this is one of the few threads I can recall getting heated on this forum...

Do you have a gunsmith that you trust? You could talk to him or let him do the trigger adjustment for you.
