I'm packing the camper up and heading to Upper Michigan Sat. am. Our opener is Wed. the 15th. Nothing better than Deer Camp. Snow predicted for this weekend, gotta love it. I like it up there because you have thousands or acres to yourself, never see another hunter. I've been Bow hunting around home the last few weeks, seen a lot of deer, some small bucks and a Sh!# load of does and fawns. Haven't taken one yet. Anyone have any luck hunting this Fall? Good Luck To All.

Now I'm jealous. This year I'm stuck bird hunting. Got a remodeling project going on that prevents me from doing much else. I'll be looking forward to next year. Meanwhile, have lot's of fun, but, keep safe
Keep it coming...

Went hunting Oct.15-23 here in northern B.C. We didn't get any moose but three deer were taken. My brother and I each got a deer. Can't really compare mine to his though. His buck green scored 188 typical and field dressed well over 200lbs. If I knew how to transfer the pictures to this forum I would . Maybe I can get my son to show me how it's done.

PS Glockman55, I am originally from Michigan. Do you know where Imlay City is?

Yes, It's about 40 miles north-east of me. Some good hunting up there. I just got back from Deer Camp, We took four bucks, nothing big, but we had a good time. No snow up there this year, pretty mild. I got a ton of e-mail to sort through. Talk to ya later.

Crackshot: I don't know how old you guys are but you may have known some relatives of mine that lived in Almont for years-Pittengers or Havens or Burkes? Did you get a deer this year? I got a small one but you should check out my picture gallery and see the one my brother shot. Net score was 188 typical.

Nice Muley, Looks like you have a nice set up in Deer camp. I like your ATV garage, good idea. I'll post some pics of our deer camp in my gallery too. Some of the names you mentioned sounds familiar. I've heard of the Pittengers and Burkes.
