My Ruger 77MkII .308 in a MAB 1 in 9 twist stainless barrel and slicked action.
Been fighting a loosing battle to find a better ones so far, even go to wildcats, still nothing compares to it.

Not to take advantage of the question, mind you, but....
I have a switch barrel rifle built on a Model 70 Classic action. The rifle has two barrels, a 7mm Rem Mag and a 338 Win Mag. That would make a nice rifle and could be used for just about anything from prarie dogs to moose.

I'm with Bushy. I couldn't run away without my Winchester Mod 94 in 30.30 (30WCF).
However, it would depend on many factors, least of all where you are going and what sort of country you are going into. Here in Australia I could get away with my Weatherby Vanguard in .243WIN for pretty well any game, rabbits, roos, pigs, goats, deer...they would all fall to it comfortably.
Yeah, I know....2 calibres again....but that is the way it is. I think I would really need the .243, but I would take both.....cause I'm greedy.

Hhhmmmmmm you've go one of them as well, I thought I had the only one. There don't seem to be many around. I would like to find an extra barrel for mine to so I can shorten it.
