I am a relative newbie on this forum, so I did not know crackshot. I am very glad that he is doing well, and please, crackshot, keep us posted of your progress.
The original thread was interesting. I read today in the news that the US dollar is the lowest it has been on the international market since the Great Depression. That means that imported powders like Rex and Vihta are going to increase in price, and by extension, the price pressure will drag domestic powders up too.
I'd like to extend the question to include prices on bullets and brass as well. Lead has doubled in the last couple of years as has copper, zinc, and aluminum. I expect Lapua brass will go through the roof. I am already paying a little more than twice for cast bullets than I was paying just 3 years ago.
