I purchased a 12 gauge pump shotgun with the following markings;

On the left side of the barrel; "La Salle"
FOR 12 GAUGE 2 3/4 FIREARMS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION

On the right side of the barrel; MADE IN FRANCE
MANUFRANCE-SAINT-ETIENNE
PATENTS PENDING

There are two die markings on either side of the MANUFRANCE-SAINT-ETIENNE.

I was wondering if somebody could enlighten me on any information you might have and rarity and value of the shotgun.
I have not been able to find any information on shotguns imported by this company.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Good luck with your search for info on this on mate.

Thanks for the advice and the help Vince. I have located some info, and the name La Salle was the actual brand.

Hello,

I had a priest friend who retired 10 years ago give me the very same shotgun as a gift. He was quite an outdoorsman. I know nothing about it and would like to know if you ever found out anything.

Thanks,

John

Sorry guys for the late post but I am new to the forum.

Firearms international was a importer of several manufactures in the 50's and 60's They were located on Hardy road in Washington DC. I lost the trail after that but I think they were bought out by Garcia Sporting Arms after that and then Garcia went out of business in the early 70's What I am finding interesting is the history of the guns in Washington DC Area. I recenty aquired a Rossi model 31 from that area and it has Garcia Sporting arms Washington DC stamped into the barrel and the Warranty card says Firearms international .. I am currently researching these importes to see if these importers closed around the times that DC first became Anti Gun. I am currently trying to Contact the current importer of Rossi guns in Miami to see if I can get in contact with the Manufacturer's historian for more Info on their importers to see if they could shed more light on these older guns...

As to the value of the guns I have only found a few that have any value such as the old Baretta's that were also imported by Firearms international
