Has anyone used this scale.Or has anyone thought of buying it,because its cheap in price,
Well that ole saying, YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR,
DON'T SPEND YOUR HARD EARN MONEY ON IT,iTS JUNK,IT WONT WORK IF IT WORKS AT ALL,OR IF IT DOES WORK,IT WONT FOR LONG,
i BOUGHT IT FROM MIDWAY, it was on sale,I thought oh that would be nice to use when i'm working up some new loads.well when you turn it on,it starts off with 0000,then ,you'll watch the weight ,all by its self.I hit the tar,it wouknt change, i changed the batteries,made no dif,it kept climbing,
I tried to calibrate, it,it wouldnt calibrate,
So it goes back to Midway,Junk is junk.no mater how its packaged,and now you know why midway sells them for 30 bucks on sale.

I've had good luck with Frankford Arsenal from Midway Shooter.
I have a Tumbler that is working great after many thousands of brass being tumbled with it.
However, I don't think that I would buy a powder scale for $30.00, and expect the read outs that my Lyman Digital gives me.

Just be sure to write a review on the scale on the Midway website.
Anything that I buy from Midway, I always go by the reviews.
Midway is an honest Company, and post bad reviews on their products all of the time.

Oh i went to the reviews after i bought it,,it goes from 5 stars to 0
well u only get what you pay for,But Junk is junk,and all jobbers will sell junk. they make a lot of money,
And alot of my reloading stuf is lyman,I will pick up one of the Scales.
As soon as i get my rcbs back,i sent that back today, after 30 years it stops working right.

you two my scale came back in 6 days
and the little batt. oper. is ok for checking but it cuts off between loads,
and has to be re zeroed way to much for me

My RCBS Powder Pro Scale with power adapter has been working now for about 20 years. I've given thought to getting one of the dispenser/scales to replace it, but I just don't load enough at a time to warrent getting one. Guess I'll stick with this one until it fails...

If you get a Charge Master you wont know how you ever loaded with out it. I absolutley love the one I just got.

Im scale poor now,,LOL i send the junky franklin back to midway,I told them,keep just credit me,
and my 5-0 5 went back too,,for what ever reason,it wont zero,Unles u mess with it,and always bounce the pan up or down,It was never like that untill late last year,so rcbs said mail it, they will fix it,
I ilke to get a scale that throws powder as well as weigh it,

280, I've got a PACT electronic scale that I've had a very long time and it has performed very well. When I first got it I was a bit wary so I spent some time weighing things on both it and my old RCBS beam scale to compare. There were no differences.

A few years back I added PACT's electronic powder dispenser and it works pretty well too. It sometimes stops 0.1-2 grains short and occassionally overshoots by the same amount but overall it is a breeze to use. The dispenser smarts appear to be in a continuous "learning mode" and I think it sometimes over adjusts.

I'm going to pick up a RCBS Uniflow Powder Dropper next week.
I use my Lee Adjustable on my Lee Classic Turret Press, and on my Lyman All American Turret, I have my Redding Powder Dropper which is spot on, and my Dad's old Lyman Ideal 55 Powder Dropper, which, unless I scale every load, would either give me a squib load, or blow my gun apart on the next shot.
I like to have at least three droppers, which saves me time when I switch powders.

I also wouldn't mind buying another digital scale, so I wouldn't have to switch my Lyman Digital every time that I go from my Lee Turret to my Lyman Turret.

Have a friend that sent 2 of them back to Midway !!!

The third one, he gave up on the idea of having a electronic scale.

He did complain to Midway and recieved a discount on his next order though !!! Very Happy

I'm going to order one of these next week,it look a little better than the Frankford scale. the guy volunteered allot of info about the scale without asking,it run about 5 min. without use before shutoff, 5 year warranty,extra powder pans and test weight etc. it's about the best I can do budget wise on a set of digital scales.

I also sent my 5-0-5 scale back to RCBS, I got it back in a week,didnt cost me anythng other then shipping,and that was about 5 bucks,
I had that scale for maybe 30 plus years,It just went south for some reason.But it works great now,

I too had that little scale. It kept drifting off zero - bad.

I still have it, but I later bought an RCBS Rangemaster 750. Now, that's a scale!
