Snow, what's that? According to the weather report in snowed in the Sacramento Valley Tuesday, I was in it, it was more like white stuff in with the rain. Does frost count as snow, we have a lot of that.
Thanks for everyone being there for another year talking to all of us here and keeping us from going nuts.
Anyone gotten any gifts yet. I got my best gift yet, I spent the whole day with my goddaughters (5 yrsold, & almost 10) and my godson (almost 12) will be here for his first Christmas home in 9 years.

My company just closed all the offices in the northeast because of weather! What the heck is going on up there? It's warm and sultry here. Darn global warming.

Cold enough to freeze the nuts off a steel bridge.............. and how about cold enough to freeze the b*lls off a brass monkey.
By the way....... tomorrow morning they say it is going to be -40F here. and I have to 170 miles north east of here to pick up my youngest daughter from the Technical School she attends.

Holy sh*t, that's cold.
We are supposed to get some winter weather down her on Saturday night. Then Sunday Night, it's supposed to be 29 degrees in San Antonio, That means that it'll get down to around 32 or 33 degrees at the ranch.
The reason we don't get snow down here is that we rarely get a deep enough layer of air that's below freezing to create snow. It's either warm in the upper atmosphere with cold air at ground level, or visa-versa. This kills all chances for snow. I've heard weather men say that we have a snow here every 13 years. That might be so in San Antonio, but the last time we had snow was 1984, the time before that was somewhere around 1961. I don't think that averages out to 13 years.

Its at -15*C/5*F with the wind chill its -25*C/-13*F now.
We got a foot and a half of snow in the 8 hours I was at work. If not a little more.
And its still coming down.
Want any?
Dimitri
