What the heck is a mongrel crim??????? I always wanted to visit Australia but there are to many critters that want to kill me down there. Atleast in Minnesota all I have to put up with is mosquito's the size of sparrows and the damn wood ticks. Well then there is the snow and cold that bring out the snow snakes. But nothing that is immediately fatal.

I'm trying to confirm this but apparently the cop shot the bear with an AR-15, .223 with a 60 or so grain bullet.

Laughing Sorry mate, just another one of the aussie colloquialisms. "Mongrel" refers to the breeding of a dog, a mongrel dog is one of indeterminate parentage, and a "crim" is a ciminal.

So, a "mongrel crim" is an individual who is not particularly nice and is a criminal to boot...overall an bad bastard!!!

Cheers, Vince

If he used an AR-15 he have had to dump the whole mag into .I've seen a few black tracks in the woods ....But since Springfield ,Massachusetts is one of America most violent cities [25 murders in a city of 60,000] I got to worry about ''ghetto gangstas '' more than bears.
