I spent this morning hunting squirrels with my old Mossberg 500.I bagged 2 reds in about 1 1/2 hours in a swamp with No.6#.I love pumps-actions!I find a shotgun the most useful and versatile gun of all.I almost bagged 2 more but the road is off limits. I found myself almost automatically pumping my shotgun.I can't wait to go hunting for 'em on our up-coming camping trip.I roasted the two whole in the oven @ 325 1/2 hour garnished in lemon juice, pepper, and barbecue sauce.Found another treat [next to my infamous ''Wilderness Stew''].

A .22 below the ears makes a nice clean kill and you don't have to spit out any BB's

I agree a shottie would be one of the most useful gun.
With a pump shottie you could get almost everything that cross your path.

But believe it or not, we are not allowed to have pump shottie in this Great Land Of Oz. Sad

Wiersy111, in this Great Land Of Oz, politicians have this great thought that
ALL semi-auto rifles (including 22LR !!!), and ALL pump action and semi-auto shotguns are evil.
So in their great wisdom they ban them for general licensed gun owners back in the turn of the millennium.
Of course if you are a criminal, you are then allowed to have them .. as long as you don't get caught..

Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad

Here we have no RIGHT to "bear guns" (or "gun bears" to that effect, coz bears are not really easy to find around here Very Happy )
To own and bear guns is a privilege that make you to be a potential criminal in the eye of laws.
The "authority" then allowed to demand entry and check your possessions.

Heck, just last Thursday, cops visits me (at 9.00 pm) to "check and inspect" my gun safe keeping and all the guns I own are checked against their license and registrations.

So Yea.. be glad you have the Second Amendment..
Stand up and make sure that there are no amendments added to rid of that amendment.

Geland I appreciate the second amendment every day I think it's a shame the way politicians think they know what is best for the people and don't even listen to them.

Every day in America we write letters, call, protest.....ect, ect. It does no good. Why you ask? Because, not one politician has had the balls to tell the "powers that be" to "get stuffed" since Kennedy. And we all no what happened to him when he told the folks he made promises to, "go to hell" Im in office now, we are gonna do the right thing.
We eventually will loose our second amendment rights. UNLESS we stand up on our hind legs and TAKE back our Government from all the soft hearted, bunny hugging, liberal a$$holes who are trying to give this country to the people who wish it destroyed. (Obama!) Or destroy it for them from the inside!
