Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with that expensive double-pane energy efficient kind, and today, I got a call from the contractor, who installed them. He was complaining that the work had been completed a whole year ago and I still hadn't paid for them.

Hellloooo, .... Just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast talking sales guy had told me last year, "That in ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves! Hellloooooo? It's been a year!" I told him.

There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally just hung up. He never called back. Guess I won that stupid argument.

I bet he felt like an idiot!!

That's a good one. I'm planning on having a contractor install more energy efficient windows in my home....I'll see if I can pull that off.....hey, my hair looks blond....ok, ok....grayish..... That’s close to blond... right?

Actually losing my memory hasn't been all bad. I find all sorts of neat things that I forgot I had. It's almost like Christmas every day!

Distinguished, yea, that's it. Distinguished....I like the sound of that.

The other day, while waiting in the checkout lane at the grocery store, a very ugly, snaggled toothed, wrinkled, bar-fly looking woman (about 60 years old) ran up and grabbed me around the waist and wouldn't turn me loose (for about 15 seconds or so). I've never seen her before. She gave me the darnedist bear hug. I asked her why she did that? She told me "because I can".

So....I guess I'm distinguished looking....at least to very ugly, snaggled toothed, wrinkled, bar-flys!!

I had that happen to me a couple of months ago. Only she was good lookin' for her age (younger then me) and I was the first person she had seen sense being offered a job and hired. I like hugs from happy mid- fifties good lookin' well kept ladies...Sure makes yer day...

Yup, compared to you I am. I still have a lot of spring in my step.

I got lots of grey hairs.... on my chin.

Kinda reminds me of a solution I have for dealing with people that annoy me. I just completely ignore and disregard them. Phone call - not returned. Email - not answered. Classic avoidance goes against my nature but I gotta admit it's satisfying LOL
