I agree with both Gelan and Erny. Who knows what bought about the divorce, and what pressures were put on the woman during and after the divorce. I saw what a mate went through with his divorce, and the individual that I consider solely to blame was the wife's lawyer...the longer things drag out, the more money he got, and the more my mate got stung.

Domestic Violence...there is more in society than many know about...but I think that the "do-gooder" section of society is to blame. In the past, what was simply an argument, is today considered Domestic Violence because of the definitions these do-gooders have put on things.

Which ever way...you are totally correct Erny...the only truly innocent person in this whole terrible incident was the baby.

I only wish that she had not used a firearm...it is going to "bite" all firearms owners on the arse one way or another...courtesy of those same bloody do-gooders. Mad

That's why I say, "Why did she not do herself in first" if she felt compelled, no matter the situation. By taking the life of that poor innocent child she added fuel to the fire for the anti gun crowd! It really doesn't matter what she went through but she took the life of an innocent child and that is all that the anti's need............ ! "THINK ABOUT IT" !!

In my job we used to treat Family Violence with disdane, we hated going and taking sides etc.
Now we realise that every form of DV must be acted against, it has become high priority work. 50% of NZ murders are Familial Violence matters and thats shite!
I guess I'm cynical but we are what we have let ourselves become, our society is violence orientated and very blase unless it happens to us personally.
I could go on for hours...........
If any member of your familys are suffering DV seek help....
