Oh he was at the library and then went grocery shopping. Got some nice Cod to fry up and we had a wonderful waldorf salad and squash to eat. I guess he was eating mostly hot-dogs on his trip because of the cost of food over there. I didn't even get to slap his sunburned hide. It's actually fading quickly anyway.
Goin hunting again this weekend, possible rain on Thurs. and Fri. so maybe the deer are ghosting around again by Sat. although it happens to be a full moon too. That's usually no good but with clouds and rain it might be ok.

I'm afraid that if I had to listen to him live I might be sick too.
I've given a lot of thought as to whether I could behave myself in his personage. Have desided that I could not.

My wifes deer hunt starts tomorrow. Forecast is serious rain, and snow mix. Its going to be rather interesting I think.

Normally I would agree... but they shortened the rifle season to 5 days... so we really dont have a choice to just tough it out. Not hunting too far from home so worst case we can get some warm grub during the day.

Yeah me too, expecting 2-5 inches of rain and 6 in. of snow in the hills, high wind warnings also. Looks like a hurricane off-shore. I have this weekend and next and that's it for me. I got my handy dandy army surplus poncho freshly waterproof sprayed today but it stinks like tulene. My stomach is not liking my left-overs I had for dinner....I hope I feel better tomarrow 5:30am.
woooozy

Well for me the rain seems to make the deer roam a bit, but I've heard otherwise. At least I've seen more deer than on sunny days or bright mornings.
Snow, I dunno, I've never hunted in the snow, pretty crunchy noisy stuff for sneakin around, but if you sit while others are marchin around lookin for deer you'd probably be better off. A lot of people around here end up in snow while elk hunting, but it's not too pleasant I hear. Most of the snow stories I hear are very deep snow stories. People get stuck in 3feet of snow and aren't equipped for it. That kind of stuff.
I don't think people really want to be hunting in snow. Farther north where there's snow loving animals I'm sure it's a plus, but those people live most of the year in winter weather anyway.

Snow, after it stops falling, doesn't hurt hunting. In fact it really helps. Deer move after a good snow. But rain tends to make them find a dry place to get out of it. Like in deep brush, under fir and cedar trees and such.
I flat enjoy hunting in the snow...Rain? NO!! Where Suz is hunting she will have to go into the deep timber and jump (flush) them out (brush poppin').
