Here I am sitting at home, awaiting for the midnight fireworks on the tube that will start in about one and a half hour time.
I sip on some interesting merlot while reading from various shooting/reloading web forums.
SWMBO and the kids watching TV in the background..
Another year we have been through, there are a lot of disasters and triumphs happening in our lives.
Some of us lost loved ones, and some gained new loved ones.
Some get dream jobs and some missed the opportunity.
From such diversified background, this here forum sure is a great place to be.
As much as for DallanC to provide us with such great place to meet,
it will be nothing without all of you filling the void with your thoughts.
My friends, I wish all of you a very HAPPY and Prosperous New Year!
Gelan

I heard on the radio that you only had a few hours to spend in this year, we still have to survive another 11 hours and 15 minutes, but on some islands they are already 1 year older...
so let's hope that we can finish everything right this year so that we can start on good fundaments for 2011 and the years to come.
May your targets follow your bullets's deviations so that you get your goals when needed and don't forget to to keep your head up and healphy.
Cheers!
and don't forget to feed the animals because they are having a rough time now in the Nothern part of our world.

So far 2011 looks a lot like 2010. I started collecting Social Security benefits as of today. I have waited a long time for this. Take care...

Went off call New Years day and got a wee bit slaughtered last nite with my wife, we just had all the visitors leave that day. Anyhoo I don't think I will be drinkin for a while....I'm gettin too old for big sessions - I'll stick to my standard limit of a 6 pack!!!
Hope you are all rested and waiting for what the new yeare brings - I know I am. Start the new job in 3 days time.

CONGRATULATIONS, Joe !!! I hope to survive long enough to claim Social Security (and that it still exisits by then). Lord knows I've paid enough into it over the years.
It's starting to look as though the gov't will start raising the eligibility age, and keep it just out of my reach (I'm now 60).
