Anyone enjoying some Corned Beef & Cabbage today?? I just finished up a meal of it myself, once a year but delicious!! I cooked it all in a crock pot this time, Corned Beef brisket, Red potatoes, carrots, onion, black peppercorn and Cabbage..

Damn...drooling all over my keyboard...looooooove corned beef (silverside), especially with whit sauce or sweet mustard pickles. And of course, braised cabbage is the perfect accompaniment.

Ok I'm going to have to do that this weekend (a late St. Patties) cause my fridge is pretty much empty and I haven't wanted to cook for a while and I'm hungrier by the moment. I actually stayed home from work the other day because I hadn't eaten enough and took my pills and had a bad reaction from it. I need to eat. Thanks for the photo, now I'm motivated!! You know how you get? I just get bored of food (my food) I choose to cook and end up living on snacks, problem is it's not very healthy and it takes a lot of snacks to satisfy. Meat and potatoes yeah that sounds wonderful right now....but I gotta go to work....I bet corned beef is cheaper after Patties day anyway.

Yes, Suz..It always goes on sale just after..I wish I could just not eat for a few days..lol could stand to loose a few of the extra I stored up over the winter..
